Blossom Day celebration in Community Park. Traditional village fete with traditional games and competitions. If you have a rural skill or talent and would like to demonstrate it, basket weaving, spinning, willow weaving, wood turning etc, we would love to hear from you. Artistic in any way? Come and sing, dance, read your poems, tell a tale, are you in a group, play an instrument? Please get in touch. There are so many talented people living in Market Lavington.
In conjunction with the event there is an Amateur Photographic Competition…the theme Biodiversity. Groups are: under fourteens, fourteen to seventeen and over eighteens. Prizes for each group and a trophy for the overall winner. There will be an art competition for Primary School age children and other Community Groups in the village.
More donations for the raffle and tombola and competition sponsorships from local trades and businesses would be incredibly kind…thank you.
